US Sales Executive

The Challenge for you.

As a Sales Executive for Freemen Nutra you will play an integral role in the continued development and growth as a leader in the human nutrition and health space. In addition to fostering existing business, you’ll be responsible for continuously canvassing for new clients within the specified territory. Sales Executives will work directly with customers to achieve the respective goals of the budget, while meeting individual performance goals. The Sales Executive must keep abreast of relevant market data, competitor pricing, product demands, trends, and develop offers based on agreed upon strategies. Customer meetings will require Sales Executives to compose and present business and technical PowerPoints which focus on Freemen Nutra’s product lines and the continued development of the brand. Regular communication on a global platform is an integral part of each team member’s success.

Core Functions

  • Promotes/sells/secures orders from existing and prospective customers through a combination of consultative and needs based selling approach.
  • Communicating product and market knowledge to existing/potential customers while assisting them in selecting those best suited to their needs.
  • Through face-to-face communication, build and sustain long-term customer relationships with R&D, Purchasing and Senior Management with accounts.

Details of Function:

  • Establishes, develops and maintains business relationships with current and prospective customers in the assigned territory to generate new business.
  • Researches prospective customers to determine their potential.
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers.
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints.
  • Coordinates sales efforts between product managers, sales manager, accounting, logistics and technical service groups.
  • Analyzes the market’s potential and determines the value of existing and prospective customers value to the organization.
  • Identifies advantages and compares Shanghai Freemen’s products against competitors.
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing ROI for the territory.
  • Supplies management with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services.
  • Maintains knowledge of product applications, technical services, market conditions and trends.
  • Performs other sales/market related duties as assigned.
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions.
  • Travels to build and maintain customer relations
  • Document all sales activities in CRM

Requirements, Education & Experience:

  • College Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate degree preferred but not required
  • 2-3 years experience representing human nutrition and health products into the dietary supplement, food and beverage accounts is a plus
  • Experienced in sales and account planning
  • Knowledge and experience with CRM and QuickBooks
  • Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs
    • Outlook, Word, Excel, and PowerPoint.

US Sales Representative

  • Manage a combination of active house accounts as well as continually develop leads/prospects in the Western Region.

  • Through a combination of online and face-to-face communication, build and sustain long-term customer relationships with R&D, Purchasing and Senior Management with accounts.

  • Establishes, develops, and maintains business relationships with active house accounts in the assigned territory to generate new business. 
  • Consistently researches new leads/prospect customers to determine their potential. 
  • Develops clear and effective written proposals/quotations for current and prospective customers. 
  • Expedites the resolution of customer problems and complaints. 
  • Coordinates sales efforts between product managers, sales, accounting, logistics and quality teams as needed. 
  • Identifies advantages and compares Shanghai Freemen’s products against competitors. 
  • Plans and organizes personal sales strategy by maximizing ROI for the territory. 
  • Supplies upline with oral and written reports on customer needs, problems, interests, competitive activities, and potential for new products and services. 
  • Maintains knowledge of product applications, technical services, market conditions and trends. 
  • Performs other sales/market related duties as assigned. 
  • Participates in trade shows and conventions. 
  • Travels up to 20-30% to build and maintain customer relations 
  • Document all sales activities in CRM and ERP platforms provided 

Requirements, Education & Experience: 

  • College Bachelor’s Degree, Graduate degree preferred but not required 
  • 2-3 years’ experience representing nutrition and health products into the dietary supplement, food and beverage accounts is a plus 
  • Experience with the sales process and account management 
  • Well versed in the Microsoft Office Suite of Programs

US Sales Coordinator

Position Purpose 

We are seeking a Sales Coordinator to add to our team who can organize sales activities as well as manage an effective client relationship management system. The Sales Coordinator will work with management to ensure that all the administrative and support functions of the sales department are going smoothly, and that client files are available and up to date for our Sales team. 

Essential Job Functions 

  • Report to specific sales reps and assist him/her in:
    • customer PO execution by working with CSR (customer service rep), including keeping track of the pull schedules for blanket orders 
    • managing/tracking order processing approvals to ensure accuracy and timeliness 
    • ensuring the continuity of supply to customer by working with PM (product managers) 
    • Inform clients of unforeseen delays or problems, or work with sales reps to inform clients of delays and problems (as well as to solve these problems) 
    • replying to documentation requests from customers 
    • following-up with customer quality complaints by working with QA/QC of SFLS 
    • replying to customer inquiries when authorized by sales rep 
  • Assist sales team in:
    • collecting market info (such as competitors’ info, market prices, etc.) 
    • preparing promotional materials for events and conferences 
  • Manage and Coordinate the documentation system
    • Respond to internal and external document requests 
    • Maintain and expand the existing documentation library as new products are added and old documentation expires. 
  • Manage and Coordinate the sample system
    • Respond to internal and external sample requests
    • Maintain the existing sample inventory 
    • Add new products that are added to our portfolio 
    • Replace old samples that have expired 

Minimum Requirements 

  • Bachelor’s degree with a concentration in a related filed is preferred. (i.e. Food Science or Biology) Relevant work experience can be taken in lieu of a formal education. 
  • 0-2 years of related industry or sales experience in a similar role. 
  • Excellent customer service mindset and superb communication skills (written, oral and electronic). 
  • High level of attention to detail with a love for organizing. 
  • Must be fluent in MS Office Suite, especially Word, Excel, and Powerpoint. 
  • Prior experience with a client relationship management system (CRM) preferred.
